Highlights 

Worked to open up lines of communication with residents

Establishment of the Village Recreation Department and development of local parks

Worked to reduce speed limits to 25 mph on most local streets

Improvements to streets and sidewalks

Improvements to Water and Sewer system 

Added free leaf pickup and annual Spring Cleanup to waste haulage service

Award winning balanced budgets

S&P AAA bond rating 

Decreased Property Tax Levy 

Support and development of local business community.  25 new business openings in 2016

Supported Bringing Back Village involvement in National Night Out

Implemented 23 cost-effective, revenue-generating intergovernmental agreements

Western Bypass opened 

Downtown redevelopment started

Village recipient of Transform Illinois Award for 2016
